What does it mean to be a Blue Alliance IT partner?

Is Blue Alliance IT a private equity investor?

Similar to a private equity investor, Blue Alliance IT acquires ownership in a company, infuses capital and achieves benefits from synergies and economies of scale. Unlike private equity investment, we seek to retain the special qualities, leadership, team and identity of our partner companies while arming them with enterprise-level resources and tools to grow independently in their markets. Today, we are privately funded; however, in time, we may explore outside investment to further build and enhance our network and growth platform.

How do you determine a tech company’s valuation?

There is no simple calculation to determine the valuation of a tech company; however, as the leadership of Blue Alliance IT have all run successful MSP and IT services companies ourselves, we understand that true valuation goes beyond annual revenue, number of employees and EBITDA. We work closely with you to evaluate what you have accomplished in your field as well as the potential for future growth.

Is investment by Blue Alliance IT considered a merger with my company or is Blue Alliance IT interested in fully acquiring my company?

While joining Blue Alliance IT will be a financial acquisition, the unique growth platform we’ve created harnesses the power of partner companies and the skills and expertise they bring to the network. Ongoing independent operations and the continued success and promotion of our individual partner brands is a key differentiator in the Blue Alliance IT model.

Must my company meet an annual minimum revenue threshold to become a Blue Alliance IT partner?

While we are looking for companies with an annual revenue minimum of $500K+, we understand that some years are more challenging than others. If your company is hovering around the $500K mark or you are already billing above that threshold, we’re interested in connecting with you.

Does my company have to be a full-service IT firm to be considered?
